ST. CROIX, USVI – The VIPD is asking for the community’s help in locating 18-year-old Wayne Burke. Burke is wanted for 1st Degree Attempted Murder, 1st Degree Assault, 1st Degree Reckless Endangerment, Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm and Possession of Ammunition.
Burke was identified as the suspect who fired upon a police officer and escaped after attempting to rob the KFC restaurant in the Sunny Isle Shopping Center on Jan. 7.
Burke is a Black male, 5 feet 9 inches in height, and weighs 180 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
