ST. CROIX, USVI – The Virgin Islands Police Department is identifying the victim of a fatal accident Tuesday on the East End Road.
55-year-old Richard M. Boehm of Cane Bay was riding a motorcycle heading west when he collided with an off-road vehicle that was traveling east. Boehm succumbed to the injuries he sustained on the scene.
Traffic Investigation Bureau officers arrested Azalea Fierros, age 23 of Arleta, California, and charged her with Negligent Homicide by Vehicle in this case. Fierros was the driver of the off-road vehicle. Bail for Fierros was set at $25,000. She was allowed to post 10% and was released.
