We stopped by in St. John to catch up with a former Music Monday Artist.
Nashville based country singer Jimmy Charles is back singing songs he wrote about the Virgin Islands.
Sunday he played at the Beach Bar.
The spot just recently opened up after recovering from the 2017 hurricanes.
Charles talked with us about being back on island.
“It is amazing! So much fun. We’re here in St. John the beach bar tonight. And I have a full week of shows in St. Thomas and the weather is perfect. It has been raining and grey in Nashville. Sherri and Reed who own the beach bar finally put up a satellite bar and built a stage and told me they want to do a boots on the beach thing so I said it is time to come back.”
Charles plays in St. Thomas Wednesday through Saturday and Sunday in Water Island.
