US VIRGIN ISLANDS – The Virgin Islands Police Department is reminding the public that anyone wishing to hold an event that encourages “mass gatherings,” or groups of more than 50 people, needs to apply for a permit with the VIPD.
The public is advised that although we are in the “Open Doors” phase of COVID-19 operations, restrictions on mass gatherings are still in place. Therefore, the VIPD will not be granting permits for any event that will encourage gatherings of more than 50 people.
