A man was shot in the leg during an early morning shooting Friday in St. Croix.
Police said it happened around 5AM Friday March 29th.
A call came into 9-1-1 about shots fired in the area of Water Gut in Christensted.
Officers found a man shot in the ankle when they arrived.
The victim said he was walking when someone called his name and shot at him.
He said he started running and was shot.
He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
No suspects or vehicle description were given.
