News for Virgin Islands Veterans.
A new state veteran ID is now available.
Before veterans were only able to get an ID every other month due to the only ID card machine moving between districts.
Now there is an I.D. card machine in each district that will be available daily.
That’s available now at the St. Thomas or St. Croix Office of Veterans Affairs Monday through Friday from 9AM-3:30PM.
Veterans having the old ID are free to get a new I.D.
In addition, the V.I. Office of Veterans Affairs is in the process of encouraging vendors to join other vendors across the territory that are providing discounts for Veterans that have a State Veteran I.D. Any vendors interested in providing discount at any level please make contact with the Virgin Islands Office of Veterans Affairs in your district.
