Governor Bryan meeting with a former President.
The Virgin Islands Governor will join former President Bill Clinton for a meeting on Post-Disaster Recovery in San Juan, Puerto Rico Wednesday January 30.
According to the release from Government House, the third annual Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) Action Network meeting brings together leaders in government, business, and civil society to develop strategies and solutions to address hurricane recovery needs facing the region, while laying the foundation for a more resilient future.
“I am looking forward to joining former President Clinton, the Caribbean leaders in attendance and Clinton Foundation partners and to participate in what I believe is an important discussion about the future of the Caribbean Economy and the role of our Virgin Islands in that economy. We have an opportunity to use this recovery and rebuilding effort as a vehicle to set the course for the Virgin Islands as a key economic driver in the region,” Governor Bryan said.
Governor Bryan is scheduled to join Former President Clinton on Jan. 30 for the closing plenary session on “Fortifying The Future of the Caribbean Economy.”
